It is a gentle, non-invasive procedure that enhances the natural beauty and health of your teeth. By using a precise mix of air and water, it efficiently removes plaque and tartar while polishing your teeth and eliminating surface stains.

This quick and comfortable treatment requires no anaesthesia, and is a painless experience for most patients. Airflow teeth cleaning significantly reduces bacteria in the mouth, promoting better gum health and overall wellness.

How does Airflow cleaning work?

The process involves spraying a mixture of air, water, and powder onto the teeth, effectively cleaning and polishing them while targeting hard-to-reach areas. Airflow is the latest in teeth cleaning technology making it more effective than traditional methods.

Is Airflow cleaning safe for everyone?

Yes, it is safe for most patients, including those with dental implants, veneers, and orthodontic appliances. During your initial consultation the dental hygienist will assess your oral health to determine whether or not airflow teeth cleaning is suitable for you.

Does Airflow hurt?

No, the procedure is generally painless and comfortable. The water used is often warmed to minimize sensitivity.

How long does an Airflow cleaning session take?

Typically, the procedure takes about 30 to 45 minutes. This will depend on the current condition of oral hygiene, and your individual needs.

How often should I get Airflow teeth cleaning?

It is recommended to have airflow teeth cleaning every 6 months or when advised by your dentist. This is to prevent plaque and tartar build-up, which can lead to gum disease.

Can Airflow help with bad breath?

Yes, bad breath is often caused by plaque and bacteria that is left inside your mouth after eating and drinking. By removing this plaque and bacteria, you can eliminate bad odours leaving your mouth feeling and smelling fresh.

What should I do after the treatment?

After your treatment ensure that you maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing regularly. Avoid staining foods and drinks for a few hours.

Your dental hygienist will provide you with personalised instructions on how to better take care of your oral hygiene. For best results always ensure to follow their recommendations.
