Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is the gold standard hygiene, developed in Switzerland, swaps traditional old-school scale and polish for a faster, more comfortable and effective hygiene experience.
The minimally invasive treatment uses AirFlow® technology to target the invisible film of bacteria in mouth called biofilm which may contribute to tooth decay and gum disease in the future.
GBT not only leaves your teeth and gums feeling cleaner and refreshed, it’s also perfect for cleaning dental implants, braces, crowns, veneers and particularly those with sensitivity.
The AirFlow system is gentle on teeth and gums, reducing sensitivity and discomfort during the cleaning process.
Patients often find the experience much more pleasant compared to traditional scaling and polishing.
Guided Biofilm Therapy can reach areas that are difficult to clean with regular brushing and flossing, ensuring a deep clean.
It is particularly effective at removing biofilm, the sticky layer of bacteria that can lead to gum disease and tooth decay.
Coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco can leave stubborn stains on your teeth.
Guided Biofilm Therapy is far more effective at removing these stains compared to traditional hygiene methods helping to restore the natural brightness of your smile.
AirFlow is safe for all patients, including those with dental implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers.
It's also suitable for individuals with orthodontic appliances, making it a versatile cleaning solution for everyone.
