Elena Shunkova

Being inspired by two generations of doctors before her, Elena was always passionate about helping people. Following her aspirations, she obtained a Bachelor's (Honours) Degree in Dentistry from Belarusian State Medical University in 2016. She subsequently worked in Minsk, in one of the capital's busiest areas, striving to boost the dental health of local communities. This gave her an opportunity to gain valuable skills in providing a wide range of dental treatments to both adults and children.

After moving to London a few years ago, she obtained registration with the GDC as a dental hygienist and therapist. Elena aims to deliver the best possible results for the patient while building a pleasant dental experience and creating a stress-free environment where patients can feel safe and comfortable. Elena has vast experience in treating children and can easily establish rapport with them. She enjoys all areas of dentistry with a particular interest in preventative and minimal intervention dentistry, as well as restorative and cosmetic treatments. Elena helps patients establish a maintenance routine to ensure that their teeth and dental restorations are kept in perfect condition. She is always keen on updating her professional skills and knowledge and undergoes further training in various aspects of dentistry.

Outside of work, Elena has a big passion for traveling, meeting people from all over the world, and getting familiar with different cultures. She is fond of yoga, hiking, and spending time outdoors.

Andesha obtained her BSc degree in Oral Health Science with a Distinction. She is a highly motivated and passionate clinician, who strives for excellence in her work and to always provide the most satisfactory experience for her patients.

Andesha endeavours in helping and educating her patients to reach and maintain optimum oral health. She consists of a holistic approach and excels in treating dentally anxious patients. She also has a renowned reputation amongst her patients for having a thorough and gentle approach. Andesha actively attends conferences and courses with a lifelong commitment to training and learning; keeping her skills and knowledge up to date with the ever-evolving nature of dentistry, offering her patients the best quality of care and attention.
