What is a Dental
Crown?
A dental crown is recommended when a tooth is too damaged, weakened or decayed to be restored with a simple filling. This includes teeth that are cracked, broken, or that have undergone root canal treatment. Without protection, the tooth will only continue to quickly deteriorate and be lost altogether.
To prevent this and relieve the pain, a crown is placed over the entire visible surface of the tooth, protecting it from any pressure, friction. It is permanently cemented onto the damaged tooth using a strong dental adhesive, creating a durable and stable restoration that becomes a permanent part of your mouth.
Each crown is individually crafted in our in-house specialist laboratory using high-quality porcelain or ceramic. Custom-made for a perfect fit, it feels completely natural from the moment it is placed. The shade, contour and translucency are carefully selected to match your surrounding teeth.
