What are dental veneers?

Dental veneers are intended for the enhancement of a single tooth at a time. Whether your goal is to close a gap between two teeth, improve an imperfection, or to disguise discolouration that has occurred due to an injury or medications, we can customize veneers to improve the appearance of your entire smile by bonding them to several teeth.

Veneers may be fabricated from materials such as porcelain or resin, each of which has advantages and disadvantages that should be considered. Porcelain veneers are more desirable as they are thin, durable and very natural looking. They also tend to resist stains very well, but require more reduction of surface enamel to appear lifelike. While resin veneers may be a bit more conservative in terms of tooth reduction, this material may not reflect light as well as porcelain.
